Impressive, eh?
The area around the limekilns is quite, well, nice. Quite different to the area in its heyday, which was quite challenging
The kilns themselves sat on the quayside, remembering that from the Crombie point facility to the Bruce Haven, the place hooches with mooring points and harbours and so on. The lime kilns harbour is quite a dejected kind of place, although the kilns themselves are impressive. Worth a look in my view.
